But what if 4 days are better than 5 for schools too? The schools wouldn't spend as much on buses, lunches, and operating costs, and the students would have another day off to sleep, catch up on homework, get exercise, etc. What do you think?
I think that is an interesting idea. On one hand, as a student you'd have more time to do things you wanted to, but then there would be less time for afterschool sports on the days you did have school, and be spending longer in school each day. However, you'd also have to get up early fewer times per week. Is the trade-off worth it? I'm not sure, there seems to be benefits and drawbacks to both.. Anyone else have an opinion?
